Balc, Hamner

Stephanie Balc of Saratoga and Jack Hamner of San Jose were married June 15 at Saratoga Federated Church.

The bride, daughter of Wendell and Barbara Balc of Saratoga, is a 1989 graduate of Westmont High School. She studied for a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy at San Jose State University and is doing an internship at O'Connor Hospital.

The groom, son of Jim and Marsha Hamner of San Jose, is a 1987 graduate of Branham High School. He graduated from San Jose State University in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in math. He is employed as a math instructor with the San Jose Unified School District. They couple will reside in Mountain View.

Christopher, Post

Lori Christopher of Saratoga and Joel Post of Norwalk, Conn., were wed Aug. 31 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Saratoga.

The bride, daughter of Art and Noreen Christopher of Saratoga, graduated from Saratoga High School in 1985 and from the University of Southern California in 1989 with a bachelor's degree in economics. In 1995, she obtained an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She is employed as a management consultant at Bain & Co. in London.

The groom, son of George and Linda Post of Norwalk, Conn., graduated from Phillips Academy in Andover, Mass., in 1984. He earned a bachelor's degree in history from Harvard in 1989, and an MBA in 1995 from the Wharton School. He is an associate in debt capital markets at CS First Boston in London.

The couple resides in London.

Lee, Leong

Joanna Lee of Saratoga and Channing Leong of Sacramento were wed May 18 at the Saratoga Country Club.

The bride, daughter of Jack and Helen Lee of Saratoga, graduated from Saratoga High School in 1986 and from UC-Santa Barbara in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in sociology. She is employed as a human resources representative at Applied Technology Associates in Mountain View.

The groom, son of Clinton and Margaret Leong of Sacramento, graduated from Sacramento High School in 1986 and from UC-Davis in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in physiology. He completed his master's degree in physical therapy at Samuel Merrit College in Oakland in 1993 and is employed as a physical therapist with Columbia Home Care and Hospice in San Jose.

The couple will make their home in San Jose.

Wayne, Belcher

Lisa Ellen Wayne of Saratoga wed Jonathan Michael Belcher of Stamford, Conn., on May 18 at Los Altos United Methodist Church.

The bride, daughter of Kenneth and Sue Wayne of Saratoga, graduated from Saratoga High School in 1990 and from the University of Arizona, Tucson, in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in marketing. She is employed as manager of Gymboree in Cupertino.

The groom, son of Bill and Sharon Belcher of Stamford, Conn., is a graduate of Westhill High School in Stamford and the University of Arizona, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in marketing in 1994. He is employed as a representative for Eli Lilly in the Bay Area.

The couple resides in Belmont.
