    Sheriff's Report

    Vandalism--Aug. 27 10:45 a.m. on Wendy Lane. Sometime during the night or early morning unknown suspects threw raw eggs at seven parked cars on Wendy Lane and Ronnie Way, causing damage to the cars.

    Prowler--Aug. 28, 10:10 a.m. on McCoy Avenue. A resident who was awake in his bedroom saw a person enter his living room and then enter his bedroom and go through the dresser drawers. The person walked around the house before leaving. The resident said the prowler may have entered through a sliding glass door left open during the night.

    Drunk in Public--Aug. 23, 3:45 a.m. on Saratoga Avenue at Prospect Road. After a traffic stop a driver was placed under arrest for driving under the influence. A second deputy was called to the scene because a passenger in the vehicle became upset and posed a danger to himself and other. He was arrested by the second deputy for being drunk in public.

    Possession of Marijuana--Aug. 26, 4:30 p.m. on Quito Road. A woman was stopped for speeding. A records check indicated that her driver's license was expired and she was cited for speeding and driving without a license. While making an inventory of the vehicle before it was towed, the deputy found less than one ounce of marijuana and a pipe. The woman consented to allow the deputy to search her purse and a second pipe was found. She was cited again for possession of marijuana.

    Burglary--Aug. 24, 12:20 p.m. on Fourth Street. An unknown suspect cut the lock on a resident's outside storage room and took a crystal chandelier worth $2,500. The suspect then replaced the lock with another. There is no suspect information.

    Burglary--Aug. 25, 8:25 a.m. on Fruitvale Avenue. An unknown suspect kicked open an office door and took the victim's property, including a cordless phone and answering machine.
