Eisenberg completes big summer for Brookside

Kelly Eisenberg had quite a summer.
And don't think the coaches of the Brookside Swim Team in Saratoga didn't notice.
The coaches selected Eisenberg as the Brookside swimmer of the year for the 1999 summer season after her outstanding performance in the girls 9-10 age division.
Eisenberg was the high point runner-up in her age group at the league championship meet, and she finished the season tops in points in her division for Brookside.
Eisenberg was one of five special award winners for Brookside at the season's end. Eisenberg was swimmer of the year, Kevin Bowe and Sarah Clark were most inspirational swimmers and Adam Hinshaw and Alexa Francis won coaches' awards.
And Eisenberg was one of four Brookside swimmers to win special awards at the league championship meet at Gunn High School in Palo Alto.
Francis (girls 6-and-under) was a high point trophy winner at the finals, and Eisenberg, Hinshaw (boys 6-and-under) and Scott Cruikshank (boys 11-12) were each high point runner-ups.
