Los Gatos Weekly-TimesZoe Reynolds ObituariesZoe Reynolds Former Los Gatos resident Zoe Reynolds died Aug. 13 in Midwest City, Okla., at the age of 93. Born Oct. 13, 1903, in Pickering, La., Reynolds lived for 50 years on High Street in Los Gatos. She worked for more than 30 years in local schools, teaching kindergarten through third grade at the old University Avenue elementary school and at Fisher when it was an elementary school. Reynolds was a member of the Los Gatos History Club and the American Red Cross Auxiliary. She moved to Oklahoma at age 85 to be near her family. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Donald and CaroleJean Caldwell Reynolds of Midwest City, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorial services have been held, with interment at Los Gatos Memorial Park, beside her late husband, Cecil Reynolds. A. Lynn Finney Los Gatan A. Lynn Finney III died of heart failure Aug. 13 at the age of 59. Born Aug. 28, 1937, in Fresno, Finney resided in Los Gatos for more than 30 years. A professional engineer, Finney worked in the nuclear engineering division of General Electric in San Jose and for the former Nutech. He was a member of the American Society of Materials and the American Welding Society. Finney also served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, in which he rose to the rank of captain. He later joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars organization. Finney is survived by wife Kathy of San Jose; son Alan Finney of Cupertino; daughter Kristine Finney of Daly City; and brothers Dan Finney of Colfax and Richard and Michael Finney of San Jose. Memorial services have been held.
