Sweitzer, Gurney star

Kelly Sweitzer and Megan Gurney of Saratoga were members of the under-14 Cal-North Olympic Development Team that competed in regional competition in Laramee, Wyo., this past summer. Sweitzer (pictured bottom right) was selected as the co-captain of the team that advanced to the finals with wins over teams from Colorado, Washington and Utah. The team lost in the championship game to Southern California. Gurney (second row, far left) and Sweitzer will each attend Presentation this fall.
