Shirley and Donald Hambey
Saratoga residents Dr. Donald Hambey and Shirley Hambey celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary while on vacation in Victoria and Whistler, Canada. The couple, who have lived in the Santa Clara Valley since 1963, were married at The Church of the Wayfarer in Carmel on Aug. 26, 1951. They have two daughters, Susie Hambey of Saratoga and Kathy Hambey of Santa Cruz. Their son, Craig Hambey, predeceased them in 1987. Donald is a retired veterinarian. Shirley was the office manager for his practice.
