    Sheriff's Report

Mailbox Vandalism--Sept. 4, 3:20 p.m. on Verde Vista Lane. On Sept. 1 at about 11:30 p.m., an unknown suspect destroyed the victim's mailbox. The suspect did no damage to the post the mailbox rests on. The next day at about 11 a.m., the victim found the mailbox in her front lawn. Her husband said he heard noises in front of their home the night before at about 11:30, but never checked to see what they were.

Burglary--Sept. 4, 9 a.m. on Oak Street. During unknown hours, the unknown suspect(s) entered a school and stole a $4,484.00 spray paint machine from an unsecured storage room. The victim didn't know the equipment was stolen until an inventory check was conducted. The sheriff's office took a report, which the victim wanted for insurance purposes only.

Residential Burglary--Sept. 3, 6:40 p.m. on Raleigh. The victim reported that someone entered his home when he and his family were away for the weekend. The suspects, which the sheriff's office says are possibly local high school students, had a party at the house, then took a lot of property, including money and a stereo, before they left.

Petty Theft--Aug. 28, 3:45 p.m. on Big Basin Way. The unknown suspect took a $200 cell phone from the victim's unlocked car.
