    Sheriff's Report

    Residential Burglary--Aug. 3, 12:20 p.m. on Ione Court. Sometime during the evening of Sept. 2, a burglar entered a resident's home through a side garage door and pried the lock on the door leading into the house. The residence was searched and several items were taken.

    Party--Sept. 1, 11:20 p.m. on Glasgow Drive. A deputy responded to complaints of a loud party. Upon arriving at the house the deputy observed about 50 young adults leaving the scene and open alcohol containers littered around the outside of the house. The deputy dispersed about 100 more young adults, cited the resident of the house and took photographs.

    Residential Burglary--Aug. 31, 6:25 p.m. on Portos Drive. A resident returned home to find the door of their home kicked in. The house was ransacked and a laptop computer appears to be missing.

    Possession Of Marijuana for Sale--Aug. 31, 5:40 p.m. on Palo Oaks. A deputy made a traffic stop because the driver threw a cigarette out of the car window. The driver gave the deputy consent to search the car and less than one ounce of marijuana was found packaged in small baggies in the trunk. The driver's wallet contained $1,169 in cash. The driver was arrested for possession of marijuana with the intent to sell.

    Forgery--Aug. 31, 4 p.m. on Baylor Avenue. On Aug. 28, a resident noticed that one or two checks had been stolen from her mailbox, and she stopped payment on the checks. On Aug. 31, the victim was notified that her back account was overdrawn. The amount and numbers on the check had been changed and it was cashed. There are no leads or suspect information.

    Burglary--Aug. 31, 2:20 p.m. on Saratoga Avenue. A school librarian placed her purse on a library desk and left for a meeting. Upon returning her purse was still there but her wallet was missing. There are no suspects.
