Polly and John L. Hillis of Saratoga and Mike Metzger of Granite Bay, Calif., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jill Christine Metzger, to Raymond Pardee "Par" Tolles III, son of Raymond Pardee "Dee" Tolles II and Laura Lou Tolles of Menlo Park.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Saratoga High School and the University of Nevada at Reno. She is an administrative assistant at Star Guide Company in Reno.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Menlo Atherton High School and UC-Davis. He is a project director with the Trammel Crow Company in Reno.

They plan a Sept. 26 wedding.
