Banjomania has performed on stages from the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville to Carnegie Hall in New York City. And come Sept. 29, the group brings its act to the auditorium of Los Gatos High School, thanks to the Los Gatos Community Concert Association. The concert, scheduled for 2:30 p.m., is the first of four concerts for the 1996-97 season. Banjomania specializes in toe-tapping and sing-along music with plenty of nostalgia, featuring songs of Stephen Foster. For information about tickets or membership, call 377-1106 or 356-7268.
