Fire Report

4:39 p.m., Sept. 5 on Sanborn Road. Saratoga Fire responded to a report of a 15-month-old child who had difficulty breathing. The infant was transported to Los Gatos Community Hospital.

6:23 a.m., Sept. 7, on Fruitvale Avenue. Saratoga Fire aided an elderly fall victim. She was transported to Los Gatos Community Hospital.

6:21 a.m., Sept. 8, on Saratoga-Los Gatos Road. Saratoga Fire responded to a woman suffering from a fall. She was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital.

3:35 p.m., Sept. 9, near Bolhman Road on the corner of Norton Road. Saratoga Fire responded to a small grass fire. The fire was extinguished by citizens upon arrival.

9:57 a.m., Sept. 13 on Carnelian Glen Court. Saratoga Fire responded to a milky-white substance in the Wildcat Creek drainage. The substance was not hazardous, but a fire hydrant was opened to flush it down the creek.

8:45 a.m., Sept. 15 on Congress Springs Road. Saratoga Fire responded to a motorcycle accident. The motorcycle slid under a truck. There were no injuries. Cal Trans was called to clean up the oil spill.

3:04 p.m., Sept. 15 on Highway 9 and Tollgate Road. Saratoga Fire responded oil and gas draining into the Saratoga Creek from a traffic accident. The spill was cleaned up.

1:15 p.m., Sept. 16 on Saratoga Avenue. Saratoga Fire responded to a gas leak from a ruptured line. Residents were evacuated. Traffic was delayed for two hours.
