Yang named to Johns Hopkins' Dean's List
Calvin Yang of Saratoga was named to the Dean's List for the spring semester at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. To be selected, he had to earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.
Yang is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Yang and a Saratoga High School alumnus. He will graduate Johns Hopkins in May 1999.
Emily Mace enrolls at Amherst College
Emily R. Mace, daughter of Thomas E. and Betsy B. Mace of Saratoga, enrolled as a freshman at Amherst College in Amherst, Mass.
Mace, a graduate of Castilleja School, is one of 425 freshmen entering the liberal arts college.
