Heroic efforts by plane passengers praised

I want to express my condolence to the families of the passengers on Flight 93. And I want to thank Jeremy Glick, Tom Burnett, Mark Bingham and Todd Beamer, as well as any others we may never know about, who thwarted the attempt to take the aircraft to its intended destination.

Their heroic efforts saved who knows how many lives. In my 70 years of life, including four in military service, I have never had to make a heroic decision. None of us knows what we would do in such a case, but I hope I would do the same as those brave souls.

God bless and keep their loved ones.
