Lou and Sandy Thorpe of Saratoga announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan Lorene Thorpe, to Daryl Frank Bothwell IV, son of Daryl and Jill Bothwell of Danville.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Saratoga High School and California State University, Chico. She is the promotions department coordinator for Yahoo! Inc. in Sunnyvale.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Skyline High School. He is a senior service technician with Allguard Systems Inc., in Hayward.
They plan a June 2002 wedding.
