Saratoga NewsSheriff's ReportAuto Burglary--Oct. 13, 6:45 p.m., on Saratoga Glen Place. While the victim was on vacation, an unknown suspect smashed the driver's-side window of the victim's locked vehicle, which was parked in the resident's driveway, and removed a $700 cellular phone. Possession of Methamphetamine--Oct. 12, 11:59 p.m., on Saratoga Avenue. A suspect was riding a bicycle without lights after dark. The man went into a closed business center and was found to be under the influence of methamphetamine and in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Vandalism--Oct. 9, 10:30 a.m., on Myren Drive. The victim told deputies of a series of events in which his car was vandalized. He said he found tree branches and yard waste on the hood of his car and on the windshield on separate occasions. Shortly after, the victim found obscenities written in permanent marker on the passenger door of his car. The victim believes his neighbor may be responsible because the neighbor had left a note telling the victim not to park by their mailbox.
