    Baseball Camp

He was one of the finest baseball players the Santa Clara Valley has produced.

And now Mark O'Brien is giving something back to the community as he hosts the annual Stanford baseball camps for players ages 12-18 on the Stanford campus.

O'Brien starred at St. Francis High School before excelling at De Anza Community College and Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo. He later coached at each college before taking an assistant coaching position at Stanford. O'Brien was the first-base coach for the Cardinal team that competed in the NCAA World Series last spring.

For information on camps, call O'Brien at 650.723.4528.
