Anniversary

Marking Their Golden Year

Charles and Sarah Robbins, Saratoga residents for the past 40 years, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 6 with a family gathering at their home. They were married Sept. 6, 1947, in Omaha, Neb. Attending the anniversary celebration were their daughters Peggy Davis of Los Altos, Elizabeth Robbins of Ross and Susan Greenway of Seattle, Wash.; the Robbins' three sons-in-law and seven grandsons; Sarah's sister Mardi Watson of Omaha and her brother and sister-in-law Gene and Casey Hurtz of Southern California. Charles is retired from General Electric and is a former Saratoga mayor.
