Saratoga NewsSheriff's ReportTerrorist Threats--Oct. 20, 3 p.m., on Mt. Eden Road. A woman claims the suspect threatened to harm her, and she is fearful that he will do so. Grand Theft--Oct. 20, 12:30 p.m., on Bubb Road. A woman came into the Westside substation to report that her cellular phone was stolen. She said it was probably taken from her car's glove box and that several calls had been made on it. She notified her cellular phone company of the theft, and deputies entered the serial number as stolen. Theft--Oct. 18, 4 p.m., on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. A woman left her purse at the grocery store. When she returned, it was gone. Deputies entered her credit cards into the stolen-property system. Vandalism--Oct. 16, 12:30 a.m., on Kern Circle. A resident parked his car in front of his house. His car window was broken by what appeared to be shots from a pellet gun. Vandalism--Oct. 15, 11:55 p.m., on Seagull Way. Two victims, whose cars were parked on the street in front of their houses, had their driver's side windows smashed with an unknown object. No entry was made into either car. The victims could not provide any leads or suspect information. Petty Theft--Oct. 14, 11 a.m., on Herriman Ave. An unknown suspect entered a men's lockerroom at a school and took a compact-disc case containing 40 CDs, valued at $350, from an unlocked locker. Residential Burglary--Oct. 11, 2:30 p.m., on Braemar Drive. A resident had two garden hoses, valued at $60, and two Scandinavian travel videos, valued at $100, taken from his car while it was parked in his garage. Possession--Oct. 7, 7 a.m., on Brookview Drive. While deputies were enforcing a search warrant, they found methamphetamine, steroids, other unknown drugs and a shotgun stored in the bedroom closet of one of the suspects.
