Saratoga News Elizabeth and Ron Gard Wedding Gard, Townsend Elizabeth Townsend and W. Ron Gard were married Aug. 9 at the Saratoga home of the groom's family. The bride is the daughter of Robert and Sarita Townsend of Brentwood. A graduate of Archbishop Mitty High School and UCLA, from which she received her bachelor's and doctoral degrees, she is currently in law school at the University of Arizona in Tucson. The bridegroom is the son of Cliff and Ina Gard of Saratoga. A graduate of Saratoga High School, George Washington University and California State University, Northridge, he is currently pursuing his doctoral degree at the University of Arizona.
