The program, titled 'Scenes from Provence, France,' features slides taken by Ronnie Rabedeau and photographs by her husband Mel, award-winning photographers who lived in Saratoga. Sunrise

    An Evening of Folk, Country

Woodhaven West, the nonprofit community concerts sponsored by the First United Methodist Church of Los Gatos, presents a double bill on Nov. 11, at 7:30 p.m. One half of the evening is Sunrise, pictured above, a trio composed of Ron and Anna Green and Tom Waldrop. Accompanied by their guitars, bass and various other instruments, they perform a combination of folk, blues, country & western and original songs. The second band, Creekside, is also a trio and consists of Ron and Jan Looney and Russ Causey. They describe themselves as 'serious and silly [with] great harmonies ... a satisfying blend of full-bodied vocals and guitars doing original and popular tunes from recent times.' The church is at 19 High School Court. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and youth and $4 for children under 12. Refreshments will be served. For information, call 408.370.3037.
