Aegis Gallery to have group art show
As they do every holiday season, the member artists who exhibit at Aegis Gallery of Fine Art have teamed up for a group exhibition. Titled Present Art, the show runs Nov. 20 through Jan. 3 and comprises the works of 25 artists. Each artist has created original works for this show, including gift items, boxed cards, holiday ornaments, lavender baskets and paintings.
The public is invited to an artists' reception, with refreshments, on Nov. 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. Aegis Gallery is at 14531 Big Basin Way in the Saratoga Village. For gallery hours or more information, call 408.867.0171 or visit www.aegisgallery.com on the Internet.
Classes focus on the study of Zen

Classes take place every Sunday from 8 to 9:30 a.m. in the Upper House, overlooking the gardens. Participants of all faiths are welcome. The cost is $50 per five-class series. For more information, call Ito at 408.356.4019.
