Hakone Gardens offers art classes for young people
As part of the various art classes it offers to the community, Saratoga's Hakone Gardens, at 21000 Big Basin Way, has planned a series of art classes for young people between the ages of 7 and 14. The classes, taught by professional Los Gatos artist Amy Konsterlie, are designed to develop the creative and artistic skills of youths regardless of their prior experience. The class will also include gift-making for the holiday season.
Classes run from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, from Nov. 28 through Dec. 21. Cost is $120 per child, which includes art supplies. Class space is limited so that all children may receive individual attention. To sign up, or for more information, call Konsterlie at 408.353.4447.
