    Saratogan now head of bar association

    Marcia O. Kaplan has been named president of the West Valley Bar Association. She accepted the post at a luncheon on July 23.

    Kaplan has lived in Saratoga for 30 years, and has served on the city's Planning Commission. She now practices business and health law with her husband, Henry Kaplan.

    The group meets quarterly, and is composed of practicing and retired judges and attorneys from Campbell, Saratoga, Los Gatos and Monte Sereno. Meetings are open to the public. Call 867-3355 for information.
