Forgery--Nov. 10, 9 a.m., on Cox Avenue. The victim's blank checks were stolen so he canceled his checking account. A suspect who allegedly stole the checks cashed two of the checks at a local market. The store lost $582.24 as a result of the stolen checks and forgery. A witness found one of the victim's blank checks in her sister's possession. So far, only two checks have gone through the bank. It is unknown how many other checks were written.

Possession--Nov. 6, 5:54 a.m., on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. The suspect, who was driving a car, was stopped for weaving in his lane. During a consensual search by deputies, a small glass smoking pipe was found. After the deputy placed the suspect under arrest for being under the influence of a stimulant and for possession of drug paraphernalia, a hollowed plastic pen, commonly used for snorting, was found in the suspect's pocket. A blood sample was taken from the suspect prior to booking him into county jail.
