Jean Lenahan
Saratogan Jean Decoto Lenahan died on Nov. 11. Her family requested that her age not be published.
Lenahan was born in Oakland and graduated from UC-Berkeley, where she belonged to Tri Delta Sorority. She moved to the Santa Clara Valley in 1946 with her husband John and had lived in Saratoga since 1955. Lenahan was a member of the Montalvo Service Group, Saratoga Foothill Club, PEO and St. Andrew's Church.
She had a lifelong love of travel and also enjoyed flower arranging, hosting parties and caring for her small dogs. Survivors include son John; daughters Jeanne and Mary; grandchildren Michelle, Katie, Alex and Jenny; also two great-granddaughters.
Memorial services have been held.
Sister Kathleen Chadwick
Sister Kathleen Theresa Mary Chadwick died on Oct. 11, at Our Lady of Fatima Villa in Saratoga. She was 90.
Born Feb. 10, 1910, in Ireland, Chadwick worked as an obstetrical nurse with the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena in Kenosha, Wis. She belonged to the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the American College of Hospital Administrators.
Survivors include sisters Mary Dorothy Chadwick and Terry O'Brien and brother the Rev. William J. Chadwick.
Memorial services have been held, with interment at Calvary Cemetery in Hanford.
