    Baseball Camps

    Holiday baseball and softball camps for Little League through high school age players are currently being offered by Hardkte World of Baseball. The indoor clinics feature instruction for two days, two hours a day, and the cost is $90 per camp. For more information, call 408.866.8050 or check the website at www.hwob.com.

    Coaches Clinic

    A clinic for softball and baseball coaches will be held Dec. 9, 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m., at St. Joseph's School in Mountain View. The clinic, run by Ray Calcagno, is open to coaches at the high school, junior high and youth levels. Fore more information, call 650.969.3295 or check the website at www.ccsa.net.

    Stanford Clinics

    The annual Stanford Holiday Baseball Clinics return to The Farm this year with sessions scheduled during Christmas vacation.

    Pitching clinics and baseball instruction for players ages 12-18 will be conducted Dec. 18-20 and 27-29 at Stanford. The cost is $115 per session.

    Saratoga Basketball

    The Saratoga Youth Basketball League is holding registration for players in grades 1-6. Games are played on Saturdays, Jan. 13 through March 17.

    The instructional league stresses fundamentals, teamwork and sportsmanship. Each player will play at least two quarters a game.

    Third-and-fourth grade teams are formed by zones, and players in fifth-and-sixth grades must attend a skills assessment session on Dec. 9 at Saratoga High School. The first-and-second grade divisions feature shorter baskets and there is a practice prior to each Saturday game.

    All players receive a uniform and a team photo. Call 408.868.1248.

    Masters Swimming

    The West Valley Swim Club hosts its master program and lap swimming at the Saratoga High School pool, Monday through Friday, 6-7:30 a.m. and 6-7:30 p.m., and Saturdays, 7-8:30 a.m.

    Swimmers must register with Pacific Masters Swimming.
