    Sheriff's Report

    Fraudulent Use of Credit Card--Nov. 9, 10 a.m. on Springer Court. A Saratoga resident noticed her wallet had been lost or stolen while she was shopping in Cupertino. A few days later, Wells Fargo Bank called to tell her that her credit cards had been used excessively. The victim identified $741.71 in fraudulent charges. There are no suspects at this time.

    Auto Burglary--Nov. 9, 2 p.m. on Shubert Lane. A victim left his car parked in front of his residence and returned later to find the left rear window broken. A cellular phone and $20-$30 in cash were missing from the vehicle.

    Assault with a Deadly Weapon--Nov. 11, 4:30 a.m. in El Quito Park. A man was attacked by four unknown suspects in El Quito Park. He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital, where a deputy met with him and took a report of the incident.

    Possession of Marijuana--Nov. 12, 12:49 a.m. on Congress Springs/Tollgate Road. After obtaining consent, deputies searched a car that they had stopped for speeding. They found a plastic container with less than an ounce of marijuana, which was confiscated. The driver was cited and released.

    Vehicle Vandalism--Nov. 13, 11:20 a.m. on Quito Road. An unknown suspect threw eggs at the trunk of a car, damaging the car's paint. The owner of the vehicle did not see who threw the eggs, but suspects his ex-girlfriend may be responsible.

    Vehicle Vandalism-- Nov. 14, 4:40 p.m. on Larchmont Avenue. A bottle was shattered on a car, damaging the windshield. The owner of the vehicle, who said the vehicle was parked across the street from where he lives, said that on three recent occasions someone wrote an "8" in lipstick on the windshield of his car while it was parked where he works.
