Saratoga NewsSheriff's ReportGrand Theft--Oct. 27, 12:30 p.m., on Vickery Avenue. A woman told deputies she was at her father's estate the previous week with a moving company. When she returned Oct. 26, she discovered her father's $3,000 silver coin collection was missing from the den wall. The daughter said she believes a moving company employee took to collection. Real estate agents also have access to the house through a lockbox. Grand Theft--Oct. 20, 9:30 a.m., on Quito Road. A resident reported his cement mixer, which was chained to a wheelbarrow in the front yard of a house under construction, was stolen. The suspect cut a chain to remove the mixer. The victim said he had been having problems with a former employee who threatened him and marred his vehicle over the weekend. The victim reported the incident to the San Jose Police Department. Grand Theft--Oct. 21, 4:45 p.m. on Cox Ave. An unknown suspect took a resident's laser printer.
