Falcons net top honors

Three Saratoga players were among those named to the all-Santa Clara Valley Athletic League girls' volleyball team this fall. Members of the all-league team include (front row, l-r) Melissa Perez, Michelle Buffum, Farah Hussain (all of Lynbrook), Erica Boss, and Melanie Rekieta (both of Cupertino); and (back row, l-r) Eryn Leach (Saratoga), Allison Thee, Anna Abatzoglou, Heather Janssen (all of Monta Vista), Danielle Tehranchi, and Iris Martlage (both of Saratoga).
