Set for a Shopping Spree

Gene's Fine Foods Market in the Quito Village is just one of 38 stores where winners of the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce's Holiday Shopping Spree can spend their credit. The annual drawing took place Nov. 28 during the Saratoga Village open house. Winners were (from left) Dan Giancola of Saratoga, $100; Bill Hodgson of San Jose, $250; and David Chyan of Saratoga, $1,000. Chyan's son, Alvin, 11, and his wife, Janet, came along to help him spend his windfall. Chyan entered the contest at the Saratoga Farmer's Market, while Hodgson entered at Pat Smith's Extravaganza Deli, and Giancola entered at Gene's.
