    Force to hold tryouts

    The De Anza Force Soccer Club will hold tryouts in January for CYSA Class 1 and Class 3 teams. Teams will play the spring season, then continue into the fall of 2001.

    Age groups, as of the fall of 2001, are for boys and girls under-9, under-10, under-11 and under-12 teams.

    Soccer tryouts

    Two new De Anza Youth Soccer teams are forming for the coming season.

    Tryouts will be held Jan. 13, 10 a.m.-noon, at Eaton School in Cupertino for a boys under-11 team. Players must have been born after July 31, 1989.

    Tryouts will also be held Jan. 13, 1-3 p.m., at Eaton School for a girls under-13 team. Players must have been born after July 31, 1987.
