Giving and Receiving

Three-year-old Kent Makishima watches as a client at the Cedar Creek Alzheimer's and Dementia Care Center on National Avenue in Los Gatos kisses the hand of Kent's mother, Luisa Makishima. The gesture of appreciation was in response to a program of Christmas carols which Kent and his classmates in the 3-year-old class at Saratoga Parent Nursery School presented on Dec. 5. The youngsters also made holiday cards which they presented to the clients.
