Saratoga Lions Club has launched the Lions Annual Community Appeal by mailing out letters to local residents seeking donations.
Funds contributed to this drive support many charitable activities. Lions donate money to screen Saratoga first-graders for hearing problems. The club presents savings bond awards at graduation to students for citizenship and service at Redwood, Sacred Heart and St. Andrew's schools and at Saratoga High School. The club has made donations to the Boy Scouts, Little League and Warner Hutton Teen Center.
Residents wishing to donate are asked to send checks to Saratoga Lions, PO Box 101, Saratoga, CA 95071.
