Auto burglary--Between 7 p.m., Dec. 13 and 7 a.m., Dec. 14. The perpetrator broke the driver's-side window of a 1992 Ford Taurus and took a cellular phone and an extra phone battery worth $438. The window cost $200 to repair, the owner reported.
Burglary--Between 9:45 a.m. and 11:45 p.m., Dec. 12. Someone climbed into the garage of a Paul Avenue house and stole tools while the owner was away.
Auto burglary--Between 10:30 p.m., Dec. 9 and 9:30 a.m., Dec. 10. A burglar broke locks on a camper shell and took seven remote-control transmitters, two hand radios, two sets of radio crystals, a screwdriver and an electronic tachometer. The owner reported the value of the items at $1,250.
Auto vandalism--Between 10 p.m., Dec. 9 and 8 a.m., Dec. 10. Someone gouged a 24-inch scratch in the left rear fender of a 1986 Jaguar parked at the owner's Fourth Street residence.
Battery--1:10 p.m., Dec. 8. A 16-year-old Saratoga High School student was attacked by a 15-year-old, a San Jose doctor reported.
Grand theft--Between 6 p.m., Dec. 6 and 8 a.m., Dec. 7. Someone stole a portable generator parked near the Pierce Road Bridge after cutting the chain of a construction site fence. The generator belonged to the company currently rebuilding the bridge over Calabazas Creek.
Burglary--Between 1 p.m.,
Dec. 3 and 11 a.m., Dec. 4. Someone entered an open garage on Leonard Road and took a chipping/shredding machine.
Vandalism--Time uncertain,
Nov. 30 or Dec. 1. A vandal scrawled profanity with a black marker in the restroom at Saratoga High School on Herriman Drive.
Auto theft--Between 11:40 a.m. and 2:20 p.m., Nov. 30. A 1988 Ford Taurus parked on Sixth Street was stolen.
Burglary--Between 2 p.m.,
Nov. 28 and 3:30 p.m., Dec. 1. Someone forced open the front door of a Sobey Road house and took two air conditioners, four boxes of linens and a mirror.
Burglary--Between Nov. 26 and Dec. 7. Someone slipped into the garage of a Saratoga Creek Drive house and took $500 worth of tools.
Petty theft--Time uncertain, Nov. 22 or Nov. 23. A petty thief took a $160 car cover left in an unlocked 1980 Fiat Spider parked on Vineyard Avenue.
Vandalism--Time uncertain, Nov. 25 or Nov. 26. Someone removed the driver's-side mirror from a 1994 Honda Civic parked on Big Basin Way.
Vandalism--12:15 a.m., Nov. 24. A vandal smashed the driver's-side mirror of a 1986 Ford van parked on Kevin Street.
