Sheriff's Report

Terrorist Threats--Dec. 9, 4:15 p.m., on Prospect Road. An employee at a religious gathering place said a controversial speaker was coming. The speaker's security sent the facility a fax that indicated members of the White Aryan Resistance would be present during the speaker's speech. The fax went on to state that they knew the layout of the building. The speaker's security force and the congregation told deputies they fear a confrontation because the group has protested at the speaker's prior engagements.

Unlicensed Driver--Dec. 9, 9:45 a.m., on Saratoga Creek Drive. A deputy stopped a car for expired registration tags two weeks ago, and at that time the driver was arrested for being an unlicensed driver and for providing false information. The deputy once again pulled over the same driver, who this time had no identification. A syringe was also found in the glove compartment of the car. The driver was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail. At the main jail, the suspect was fingerprinted, and his identification came back as a suspect who had an immigration warrant.
