| The San Francisco Klezmer Experience came to
Los Gatos Aug. 28 to play for Music in the
Plaza on the lawn of the Los Gatos Civic
Center, after which special guests gathered
for dinner on the patio of the Garden Inn
Hotel, 46 E. Main St. The event was hosted by
owners Tom and Jenny Chang. The performance
of Jewish folk music from eastern Europe was
sponsored by the inn, the Los Gatos Coffee
Roasting Company and the Addison-Penzak
Jewish Community Center of Silicon Valley.

| Friends and supporters of Jack NyBlom, Jim
Zuur and Dennis Skaggs gathered July 25 for a
sneak preview of the three business partners'
Camera 7 Cinemas in the Pruneyard shopping
center. The lobby features the usual popcorn
and other traditional movie theater fare, but
unlike other movie houses, this new complex
features an upscale pizza cafe managed by
Willow Street Wood-Fired Pizza. |
