Final bow for teacher
Photographs by Lee Kopp
Board members of Ballet San Jose Silicon Valley bid adieu on Aug. 6 to Donna Delseni, who has served for the past four years as director and principal teacher of the company's school. Longtime board member Charmaine Warmenhoven opened her Saratoga home for the late-afternoon cocktail party poolside. In addition to board members, well-wishers included teachers and accompanists from the school and dancers and staff from the ballet company. Now in its sixth year, the school has received national recognition as a premier ballet training institution. Delseni is returning home to family in Florida.
