Rec department to visit exhibit
The Saratoga Recreation Department is taking reservations now for an Oct. 30 day trip to the Legion of Honor in San Francisco to visit the exhibit "Eternal Egypt: Masterworks of Ancient Art from the British Museum." More than half of the works in this traveling exhibition have never been seen outside the British Museum.
Participants will be on their own for lunch. On the way home, the bus will stop at the Cliff House area, where participants can visit the Musee Mecanique. This trip is open to people of all ages. Good walking shoes are recommended. The cost is $49 per person, or $37 for those who are members of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. For reservations, call 408.868.1248 or 408.868.1249.
