VANDALISM—Oct. 14 at 7:30 p.m. on Aloha Ave. Sometime during the night an unknown person approached a residence and damaged an outdoor lamp on the front lawn. The estimated damage was $50. There are no suspects at this time.

VIOLATION OF COURT ORDER—Oct. 13 at 2:05 a.m. on Vanderbilt Drive. An officer was dispatched to a residence for a family disturbance. The suspect on the premises had a peaceable contact order and was intoxicated and being verbally abusive in the front yard of the victim's residence. The suspect admitted to violating the court order and was arrested and booked in the main jail.

VANDALISM—Oct. 13 at 11:25 a.m. on Calle Tacuba Drive. An unknown perpetrator poured orange juice on a resident's car during the night. The resident did not realize the damage until that morning. The estimated damage was $400. There are no witnesses or evidence available at this time.

VANDALISM—Oct. 13 at 10:35 a.m. on Parker Ranch Court. While asleep during the night, a resident awoke to a loud crash and a car peeling away. The resident went back to sleep, but awoke in the morning to find a broken water fountain. The estimated damage was $3,000. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.

TERRORIST THREATS—Oct. 11 at 9:56 p.m. on Allendale Avenue. An officer was dispatched to a disturbance call at a residence. A man had noticed a known person looking into the window at the front of the house. The suspect had no legal business at the residence. The suspect then turned off the power at the breaker box. The homeowner approached the man, who told him he was going to kill him. The suspect also threatened to kill another individual on the premises. Both victims felt the suspect would follow through with his threats and called the police. The suspect was arrested and booked into the main jail.

IDENTITY THEFT—Oct. 11 at 7:45 p.m. on Fourth Street. A man reported that a bank sent him a cancelled check that he did not write. An unknown person had made out the check with the victim's name and account number. The victim called the bank and cancelled the account. There are no suspects at this time.

IMPROPER USE OF ID—Oct. 9 at 7:30 p.m. on Aloha Avenue. An unknown person used a man's name, address and Social Security number to apply for a credit card at a furniture store. The card was issued and used for $4,349.12 worth of charges. The victim learned about the identity theft when the bank contacted him. There are no suspects at this time.

POSSESSION—Oct. 8 at 4:30 p.m. on Saratoga Creek Road. An officer responded to a call to make contact with a subject who had admitted to the possession of alcohol and drugs to a code enforcement officer. Upon completion of the investigation, the officer found the man to be under the influence of stimulants. The suspect also possessed presumptive positive cocaine, paraphernalia and less than one ounce of marijuana. The man was booked for charges.

DUMPING ON PUBLIC PROPERTY—Oct. 8 at 3:40 p.m. on Prospect Avenue. An officer observed a man throwing a soda cup on the ground. The officer cited the man for the violation.

VANDALISM—Oct. 8 at 2:30 p.m. on Prospect Road. The dean of a school confronted a student about tagging the boys' locker room and found the student had identical writing on his schoolbooks as was in the locker room. The student then admitted to the tagging and said he was regretful.
