Saratoga gets spooky for Halloween

This Halloween, the costumes worn by youngsters—and more than a handful of their daring parents—will no doubt be as varied as the goodies in a trick-or-treater's loot bag. From mild to wild, silly to scary, the "ghoulies and ghosties and things that go bump in the night" will be out in force come Oct. 31, and the neighborhoods had better be ready.  More

St. Andrew's Rental rate Tree protection
It's back to the drawing board for St. Andrew's Episcopal Parish and School, as rebuilding plans that were presented for planning commission discussion Oct. 23 were a source of concern for both commissioners and neighbors.  More The Saratoga city council and Chamber of Commerce are at odds again—this time over the appropriate rental rate for the McWilliams house, where the Chamber currently operates.  More Saratoga's planning commission has implemented new measures to strengthen tree protection in the city—and violations, which were once punished as infractions, are now considered misdemeanors.  More
