VANDALISM—Oct. 20 at 11:30 a.m. on Blauer Drive. Sometime during the previous night a residentially parked vehicle was shot with blue paintballs. The estimated clean-up was unknown. The same vehicle had been egged the previous weekend, but no report was made.
VANDALISM—Oct. 20 at 11 a.m. on Glen Braie Drive. Sometime during the previous night, unknown perpetrators shot a residentially parked vehicle with blue paintballs. The clean-up was estimated to be $10.
VANDALISM—Oct. 20 at 10:20 a.m. on Braemar Drive. Unknown perpetrators stole a ceramic pumpkin from the front porch of a home and used it to damage a nearby vehicle. Halloween decorations hanging from the resident's tree were also damaged. The estimated cost of the pumpkin was $100 and the estimated repair cost of the decorations was $5.
VANDALISM—Oct. 20 at 9:30 a.m. on Sarahills Drive. Unknown perpetrators tipped over a ceramic birdbath. The ceramic top to the birdbath was used to damage a neighbor's mailbox and then returned. Estimated repair costs were unavailable.
VANDALISM—Oct. 20 at 9:20 a.m. on Mina Way. A residentially parked vehicle was shot with blue paintballs. The estimated clean-up was $10. The same vehicle was egged the night before, but it was not reported.
VANDALISM— Oct. 19 at 10 a.m. on Wendy Lane. An officer was dispatched to a residence for prior vandalism. The homeowner told the officer that on the previous day an unknown perpetrator threw a gas grill and lighter fluid into the swimming pool. The victim estimated damage was over $400. There are no suspects at this time.
BURGLARY— Oct. 18 at 3:45 p.m. on Big Basin Way. A motor home resident reported a prior burglary. The victim said the perpetrator was her ex-fiancée who stole five-gallon cans of gasoline from inside the home. A skylight was removed for access to the motor home. The perpetrator did not have permission to be inside nor did the perpetrator have any personal belongings from the past relationship stored at the motor home. The perpetrator is at large.
VANDALISM— Oct. 18 at 12:12 a.m. on Shadow Oaks Drive. A resident heard a smashing sound coming from the front of the house. The resident saw two juvenile boys run to a white Chevrolet Tahoe and drive away. An officer was dispatched to the home, where four wooden mail boxes were found vandalized, including the mail box of the resident who called. All four mailboxes were damaged and placed together on one stand. There are no suspects at this time.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY— Oct. 17 at 3:10 p.m. on Monte Vista Drive. A couple left town for three days. They had been planning their daughter's wedding and had bought expensive jewelry for the occasion. The jewelry had been stored in a spare bedroom and in a jewelry case in the master bedroom. When the couple returned, they found jewelry had been selectively stolen. The couple mentioned the housekeeper slept at the house while they were away.
VANDALISM—Oct. 17 at 9:30 a.m. on Saratoga Creek Drive. A guest of a resident was down to visit and parked a borrowed car in front of the house. During the night an unknown perpetrator broke eggs on the driver's side and rear truck area of the car. After washing the car, it was determined there was no serious damage. There are no suspects at this time.
VANDALISM—Oct. 17 at 4:20 a.m. on Sobey Road. An anonymous call was made to the police advising that multiple mailboxes were vandalized on Sobey Road. An officer was dispatched and found that between 20 and 25 mailboxes were vandalized. Due to the early hour and type of crime, the residents were not contacted at that time.
PETTY THEFT—Oct. 16 at 5 p.m. on Congress Lane Hall. A resident forgot his briefcase on his front porch and went to work. When he realized the briefcase was left at the house he returned and found it missing. The victim checked the surrounding area but could not locate the item. The estimated cost of the briefcase was less than $400.
VANDALISM—Oct. 15 at 2:40 p.m. on Carniel Ave. A resident had planted a $25 pine tree in the front yard. The perpetrator arrived home to find the tree removed and thrown into the bushes next to the house. Bicycle tracks ran over the tree site. The resident believes the perpetrators were children who bike over the area on his property.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY—Oct. 15 at 10:30 a.m. on Herriman Ave. A locked and secured construction office trailer was broken into during the middle of the night. The unknown perpetrator pried off the deadbolt lock with a tire iron. A computer CPU, mountain bike and tools were stolen from the trailer.
