Argonaut magic night a success
Argonaut Elementary School held its PTA "Night of Magic" fundraiser Oct. 12. The event was deemed a success, as the PTA estimated an attendance of 600 people and $40,000 raised. This money will fund the PTA's basic yearly budget for its regular programs.
Although the PTA is proud of this achievement, its stated goal was to raise $60,000, which would enable the organization to purchase some "wish list" items for the school. Anyone who would like to make a monetary or material donation to help the PTA toward this goal can contact either Patti Workman at pattiko@yahoo.com or Kristin Gragnola at crunchgrag@aol.com.
