Sheriff's Report
VANDALISM—Nov. 2 at 4:15 p.m. on Braemar Drive. An unknown person stole a pumpkin from a residence and threw it at a car parked in the driveway. Several scratches measuring seven inches wide and 10 inches long were made on the left rear panel of the car, as well as a 3-inch-wide dent. The estimated cost of the damage is unknown. There are no suspects at this time.

VANDALISM—Nov. 1 at 12:03 a.m. on Verde Vista. An unknown person using a pumpkin damaged a residentially parked car. The left mirror was broken, and scratches were made on the left fender. There are no suspects at this time.

GRAND THEFT—Oct. 31 at 11:10 a.m. on Saratoga Avenue. A woman parked her car in the front of a school to attend a carnival. She left her purse on the front seat and left the doors unlocked. When she returned from the carnival, the purse was gone.

LOST LAPTOP—Oct. 31 at 8:30 a.m. on Big Basin Way. A sheriff's deputy's office laptop computer was accidentally left on top of a patrol car. The computer fell off somewhere between Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road and Big Basin Way as the car was driven. A subsequent search for the computer was unsuccessful.

BURGLARY—Oct. 28 at 11:15 p.m. on Moran Lane. An officer was dispatched to a residence that had previously been burglarized. After returning from a monthlong vacation, the residents found a window open and the inside of the house ransacked. There are no suspects at this time.
