Hakone Gardens features new art
The Hakone Foundation, together with the Honorable Shigeru Nakamura, the consul general of Japan, will sponsor an exhibit by prolific Japanese landscape painter Hiroko Ohno from Nov. 9 through Jan. 10 at Hakone Gardens.
The title of Ohno's exhibition is "An Artist's Quest for Japanese Painting Inspired by Yosemite" and features images of Yosemite National Park. Because the collection is so large, part of her paintings are also on display at Iwasawa Oriental Art, located at 75 University Ave. in Los Gatos.

Three local girls will also share their experiences at this past July's Tech Trek camp: Katherine Rea of Redwood Middle School, Ashley Peterson of C.T.
