Wildlife writer to visit Foothill Club

Bernal was featured in two films: Into the Wild Dolphins and Dolphin, the latter an Academy Award-nominated IMAX movie that explored his relationship with JoJo, a wild bottlenose dolphin. Bernal will also discuss his other dolphin encounters, as well as his work to protect humpback whales.
Admission is a $8 donation; everyone is welcome. Call 408.354.2527 or 408.867.2361 for more information about the club.
Santa's elves need help responding
As it has for the past several years, the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce is accepting letters from children addressed to Santa Claus. Because several hundred letters come in each November and December, volunteer "elves" at the Chamber could use some help in replying to all the eager letter-writers.
Children interested in writing to Santa can drop letters off at Mail Boxes Etc., 14510 Big Basin Way, in special boxes set aside for that purpose. Chamber volunteers will periodically collect them and reply. The Chamber is also planning to publish a book comprising selected Santa letters and favorite holiday recipes from Chamber members.
For more information about answering Santa letters or obtaining a copy of the Chamber book, call 408.867.0753.
