Park trail Election results Christmas in Saratoga
Residents and trail advocates are divided on the reopening of the Gardiner Park access trail. Council members voiced support to reopen the trail and neighbors along the trail still oppose the opening.  More Winning candidates in this year's city council race received widespread support from the community. Of the city's 23 precincts, 22 had the same three candidates winning overall.  More Saratoga Village's second annual Holiday Open House is back on Nev. 29. Saratoga will be filled with decorations, live music, carolers and horse-drawn carriages leading up to the tree-lighting ceremony.  More

In a tragic shooting, 31-year-old Red Bluff police officer David Mobilio was killed. Mobilio was a 1990 graduate of Saratoga High School.  More The Performing Arts and Lectures Center (PAL) has been approved so construction bids can be considered. Exact building costs are expected to be clear once the bidding process has begun.  More Longtime Saratoga resident Vienna Teng left a career in software engineering to concentrate on singing, songwriting and recording.
