Soccer training will begin soon for girls in the under-11 age group planning to play in the 2003 spring season. Jorge Espinoza, a soccer professional with more than 20 years of experience, will lead the training sessions, which will help girls develop skills to play at every level, from recreation to class 1. Games Dec. 7 at Homestead include: 8:30 a.m.—Menlo Atherton-Prospect, Santa Clara-Los Gatos; 10:15 a.m.—Homestead-Live Oak, Sequoia-Independence; noon—Alisal-Los Altos, Woodside-Leigh; 1:45 p.m.—Leland-Salinas, Pioneer-Lynbrook; 3:30 p.m.—Saratoga-Gilroy, Monta Vista-Aptos.
