| Irony is out. Heartfelt communication is in. That's the verdict among the formerly cool artists of the Los Angeles art scene. And the new sincerity is on display at the San Jose Museum of Art in an exhibit called "L.A. Post-Cool." On Nov. 22, art lovers gathered to celebrate (with some nostalgia) the passing of the old and the birth of the new. |

| Opera San José supporters gathered Nov. 9 for dinner at the Hyatt Sainte Claire prior to the opening night of Faust, the second show of the season. Following dinner, guests walked across the street to the Montgomery Theater to enjoy the performance. |
