Dolphin inspires man to protect marine animals in the wild

His friendship with JoJo the dolphin has inspired Dean Bernal to protect all marine animals in the wild. Bernal, who makes his semipermanent home in the Turks and Caicos Islands, has De Anza College instructor Linda Barrett as the stateside administrator of his Dolphin, Whale and Marine Wildlife Foundation, and together they work to educate the public about their cause.  More

Blue Hills John Martin Nichols New library
The city council has approved a bike path near Blue Hills Elementary, as well as a crossing guard for the corner of Knollwood Drive and DeSanka Avenue.  More On Dec. 3 former SHS Assistant Principal John Nichols changed his plea from not guilty to no contest for two counts of child annoyance.  More Construction of the new Saratoga Library is now entering the homestretch, with the opening anticipated for March.  More
