Marie K. Wark, who was born in Saratoga and spent her last 75 years in Los Gatos, died Jan. 11 at the age of 99.

Wark was born Oct. 8, 1903. She worked as a food service manager for the Los Gatos Foster's Freeze. She also worked in food service for many years at Happy Hollow Park and Zoo in San Jose and the former Frontier Village amusement park, also in San Jose. She was an officer and longtime member of the Rebekah Lodge of Saratoga and a past president of the Gem Convalescent Hospital Guild.

Her husband, Walter Wark, preceded her in death. She is survived by son Edward Wark of Los Gatos; grandchildren Michael Wark of Stockton, Daniel Wark of Pleasanton and Nadine DaRoza of Hollister; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services have been held, with interment at Los Gatos Memorial Park.
